Mounts

Think my Largzard is less chunky than Rey was imagining, but was liking the ribbon/snake body vibe. Could see it coiling effortlessly over rocky terrain, and rearing up to strike.

Seeing the Rokko-do as having peacock-style plumes capable of displays that can pleasure even the most ostentatious knight.

  1. Nice! I love the art in this project, you're doing a good job of keeping a distinct yet recognizable style.
The rokko-oo feels like a homage to Final Fantasy's chocobo?

    1. Thanks Jensan,

Rokko-Do is the battle variant of the Mokko-Do which will be a little more Chocobo-ish! Let's not forget the influence of Phorusrhacids (terror birds) or the Joust videogame (1982) either :-)

  2. I adore the Very Hungry Catapillar vibe I'm getting from the Grubbish.

  3. The Largzard would be a great ride for mounted skirmish archers. The Rokko-do's tail would be good cover from arrows like a samurai's horo

    1. I didn't even know about the Horo, that's a pretty good comparison actually...
