Logo Test

Messing about with new logo design (draft), not sure about it yet. Is it distinctive? Is it legible? Will it look good on a t-shirt?

Here's some old cover work (which I still like too)

  1. I really love the new logo and how it looks.

(Minor thing - should be The Blazing Garden as opposed to Burning Gardens but you know)

  2. Im a fan. I especially like the low font weight of the katakana compared to the English title. It makes for an excellent contrast. Speaking of: while the logo looks great on the main book and Trouble in Sprocket, using white on the lighter background in Burning Gardens, particularly with the sun right below it makes it stand out less. Maybe try it in a different color? Either way, cant wait to add these to my shelves.

  3. A logo should always stand out among competition. It must be unique in such a way that people relate the logo only to a single company and are not confused as to which company the logo belongs to.
